1 Introduction.

We at Gibsons process your personal data in various contexts, for example when you order services from us, stay overnight at our hotel, use services that we deliver and in other contexts. In our privacy policy you will find more information about how we process personal data. Below you will also find contact information if you have questions or want more insight into the data we save.

2. Processing of personal data for booking and stay.

In connection with your bookings, or bookings that you make for others, Gibsons Hotell processes the personal data we need to be able to fulfill the agreements on booking and purchase of services. This is information that you have provided to us directly or that you have provided to us through a travel agent or agent. For example, we process information about your identity, your contact information and your payment information. On certain occasions we save your passport number. In addition, we process other information you may have given us that is relevant to your stay with us. This may be information about allergies or special requests for your stay. We process this data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the agreement on booking with you and as long as current legislation or authorities impose this.

3. Processing of personal data for development, troubleshooting and security.

Gibsons Hotell processes data that includes personal data to troubleshoot and correct errors, improve our services and the technology we use, and to analyze usage and user behavior. We also process personal data to verify your identity, including verifying identity in connection with your use of our digital services. We anonymize data or prepare statistics to the extent possible, but we also process personal data for development, troubleshooting, statistical and security purposes.

4. Processing of personal data for other purposes.

For competitions or other activities in which you can participate, we process personal data such as name and contact information when this is necessary, for example to register who participates and then draw one or more winners. Gibsons Hotell will, to the extent possible, provide concrete information about this when you participate in competitions or other activities. If you contact our customer service or otherwise contact us with questions, we process personal data you provide as far as is necessary to answer and log your question.

5. Processing of personal data about our suppliers, business customers and contacts in the business world.

We process information about contact persons at our suppliers, business customers, partners, participants in our events aimed at the business world and other actors who operate in the business world. We do this in order to be able to work efficiently, enter into and manage contracts, recruit, run and develop our company and our professional network. The information usually consists of name, contact information, position, company, competence, corporate interests and participation in our arrangements for the business world or previously shown interest in us and our employees. Gibsons Hotell saves information of the above-mentioned kind as long as the company and the persons are deemed to be one of our business contacts. The reason for this is legitimate interests.

6. Disclosure of personal data and statutory processing.

Gibsons Hotell does not disclose your personal data to third parties if you have not consented to this, or if current legislation, including the Personal Data Act and GDPR, government regulations or the court allows us or gives an order to this effect. For the sake of order, we inform you that our use of data processing to process data on our behalf does not count as disclosure.

7. Collection of personal data from others.

In order to ensure that we have correct information about you, we can compare your data against other sources such as telephone directories, civil registration registers and the like. It may sometimes be relevant to carry out a credit report on our customers, which means collecting credit information from other sources. We collect demographic information such as age, gender and language from other sources. We also collect information from our partners when this is legal and necessary for the delivery of services and communication to you.

8. Your rights.

You as an individual have several rights according to the personal data regulations. You have the right to demand access, correction or deletion of personal data that we process about you. You also have the right to demand limited processing, the right to object to the processing and demand the right to data portability. Here you can request information about how we process your personal data. If you have more questions, please contact us by email: info@gibsonhotell.se. We will respond to your message as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. We will ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information before we let you access your data. We do this to make sure that we only give access to your personal data to you - and not to someone else pretending to be you.

9. Change in privacy policy or in treatment.

Gibsons Hotell is constantly working to ensure that we develop and optimize our services for our customers. This may change the way or scope of our processing of personal data. The information we provide through this privacy policy will therefore be adjusted and updated at irregular intervals. We will also change the privacy policy when new regulations or government practices make this necessary.
